A Dog's Life Boston was started by Kelly Allen and her pup Penzi with the simple idea that dogs should be dogs. Owning a dog is a wonderful, challenging, and very rewarding life experience. Exercise and socialization are key for a happy, balanced, well-behaved dog. The freedom to get outside and run and play with friends is one of the greatest gifts you can give your dog.

Kelly grew up surrounded by animals and has been working professionally with dogs since 2005. In 2006 she fell in love with a picture online and adopted Penzi from a kill shelter in Georgia. Since then she has been working to train and rehabilitate Penzi and give her a second chance at a happy fullfilled life. Through working with Penzi and all the other dogs, Kelly has learned and practiced dog training and behavior techniques which helps to ensure a fun, safe environment. Kelly is now combining her years of photography and design experience with her love for dogs to capture the moments we share with our pets.
